Be honest — would you have really preferred that it had a bibliography? Would that have changed your mind in any way about what you saw? "Good artists borrow, great artists steal." Isn't that what they say? Wouldn't that make the Wachowskis among the best, no matter how the lawsuit turns out?
"Do you really think that's air you're breathing?"
In some ways, does it even matter? Did you like the movie? What else matters? Well, okay, people getting paid and intellectual property laws notwithstanding — what else matters to you?
Or is that what they want us to think? Do they want us to accept this kind of Xerox storytelling? Will this article ever stop asking questions? Will it?
